The “Golden Level Crossing Gates” award recognises
the organisations or private persons who have no
professional connection to railways but who have
still contributed significantly in achieving railway
safety related goals.
Honorary Medal
Operation Lifesaver Estonia’s Honorary Medal
is donated to Estonian or foreign citizens who
have contributed at least five years significantly
in developing railway safety related activities in
Estonia or to persons whose professional activities
have helped to prevent railway accidents or
incidents with potential serious consequences.
In 2012 OLE’s honorary medals for professional

“Best Presenter 2012“
In 2012 the honorary title of the best presenter was
given to Peeter Pau, police officer of the Eastern
Police Prefecture, whose lectures on railway safety
were attended by 600 young people aged 10-17
from Southern Estonia.
